An independent garage on the A36 between Salisbury and Southampton, working on everything from cars to trucks, buses and coaches. Trading since 1983.

What it does
RD Avery is a DVSA approved independent garage in Landford, on the A36 between Salisbury and Southampton. MOT testing in classes 4, 5 and 7, servicing from interim to major including hybrid and EV, mechanical and electrical repairs, diagnostics, air conditioning, tyres and alignment, and roller brake testing.
The range of vehicle is the unusual part. Cars, vans, classics, 4x4s and minibuses sit alongside trucks, buses and coaches, with no size cap on the HGV work. It has been on the south coast since 1983, and it quotes before any work begins.
What Compound does here
A new site, replacing a template one that said little about what the garage could do. Every service has its own page and every town it draws from has one too, from Salisbury and Southampton out to Romsey, Totton, Ringwood and Andover, because that is how someone looks for a garage. There is an MOT history check on it, and a section for fleet work.
Behind it, the systems the workshop runs on. Job sheets and the route a job takes through the shop. Scheduling that knows what each bay is equipped for, rather than treating a ramp as an hour on a calendar. Customer and vehicle records, with the service history and the MOT dates attached to the vehicle rather than to somebody’s memory.
And a customer portal, so the people who own the vehicles can see those records themselves instead of ringing up to ask. This is the shape of the work Compound does inside a family business: not a website and an invoice, but the systems the business is actually run on.
